Members have an opportunity to develop social, communication, and leadership skills as well as attend and participate in events, conferences, and conventions.
Mission Statement: To serve as the governing body that instills empowerment, responsibility, and tradition in students. To ultimately serve as the voice of the students residing at the resident halls that encourages change for the best possible living conditions for the students.
Preamble: We, the students of Resident Housing Association (RHA) at Florida Gulf Coast University, do ordain and establish this organization as a self-governing body created to achieve an arena where residents can share ideas, suggestions, and concerns while building tradition. We will serve as a bridge between resident students and the University Housing Administration, Faculty, and Staff. RHA will provide social, educational, and community service programs for its residents as well as leadership opportunities for its members. Resident Housing Association will respect and uphold, to the best of its ability, the desires of the students residing at Resident Halls of Florida Gulf Coast University. |
